Where is the camp located?

Leap Mind AI is currently scheduled at College Park Elementary,
3700 Chaparral Ave, Irvine, CA 92606, pending final confirmation.

*In the event of a change, families will receive notice at least two weeks prior to the camp start date. The final location will remain within IUSD.

What age group is the camp for?

Leap Mind AI is designed for kids ages 8–12. Whether your child is tech-savvy or just curious, this camp is beginner-friendly and full of creative exploration.

What will my child actually do at camp?

They’ll:

• Train an AI to recognize images, sounds, or gestures

• Create AI-generated art and music

• Build a mini AI game using Scratch

• Play group challenges and problem-solving games

What does a typical day look like?

Each 3-hour day includes:

• A quick warm-up or group challenge

• A guided lesson on an AI concept or tool

• Creative independent or break-out group project time with instructor support

• Time to reflect, share, and have fun!

Do we need to bring any devices?

No — we provide iPads for every student. All materials and tech are included in the registration fee.

Is food provided? Should we pack snacks?

We do not provide snacks and do not schedule a snack break.

Please ensure your child eats breakfast before camp and brings a labeled water bottle each day.

How do I register and pay?

You can register directly on our website. We accept major credit/debit cards through our secure payment processor.

Early bird spots are $699 — standard registration is $799.

What’s your cancellation or refund policy?

Cancellations made 21+ days before camp starts will receive a full refund. Within 21 days, we offer credit toward a future session if space is available.

Who’s running the camp?

Leap Mind AI was created by two passionate educators with a love for AI, creativity, and empowering young learners. We personally lead each session to ensure a fun and meaningful experience.
